Dr. Dennis Martin and Pam Luckhurst of Martin & Luckhurst Therapy & Consultation Services are both Registered Psychologists with more than 50 years’ combined experience delivering clinical counselling services. As counsellors in Calgary they are skilled therapists and treat a wide variety of problems and symptoms in individual, marriage and family therapy.

Martin & Luckhurst works with children, adolescents, adults and relationships, having established the practice 28 years ago.
Pam Luckhurst is a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Social Worker. She is an Approved Supervisor and Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist in Canada (RMFT). She also is a Provider for First Nations and Inuit Health Medical Services and a Provider for Veterans Affairs.
Ms. Luckhurst has more than 25 years’ experience delivering counselling in Calgary; in private practice, hospital-based mental health programs, school and residential treatment settings. To highlight some of her specialty areas, she has experience in successfully resolving symptoms by helping clients develop a positive connection with their emotional world.
She is successful in treating clients with symptoms related to issues in their work environment. She has expertise in working with children, adolescents and their families treating behavior problems, ADHD concerns, and concerns related to separation and divorce. Ms. Luckhurst also is an experienced marital therapist working largely with an emotionally focused therapy model.
Dr. Dennis Martin
Dr. Dennis Martin has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, is a Registered Psychologist, and is listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. He has 30 years of experience offering clinical services, which include private practice, hospital-based outpatient and crisis therapy programs, community mental health centers, and university counseling services.
Dr. Martin works with adolescents and adults in individual and marriage therapy. He is also an accomplished group therapist, group therapy trainer, and an expert in work team functioning. Throughout his career he has supervised and trained advanced psychology pre-doctoral interns and Alberta Health Services mental health staff.
To highlight some of Dr. Martin’s specialty areas, he has developed expertise in organizing highly distressed individuals in crisis situations. He is very effective in treating men and women who have physical complaints and anxiety or depressive symptoms reflective of unmet or unresolved emotional needs.
Dr. Martin also has a great deal of experience treating persons with symptoms related to issues in their work environment. He has success working with mid to late adolescents who are looking for assistance with moving forward in their lives. He brings a solid confidence to his work and feels fortunate to be able to help people while doing what he loves to do, which is therapy.
