Hello! I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, am a Registered Psychologist, and am listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. I have 30 years of experience offering clinical services which include private practice, hospital-based outpatient and crisis therapy programs, community mental health centers, and university counseling services. I work with adolescents and adults in individual and marriage therapy. I am also an accomplished group therapist, group therapy trainer, and an expert in work team functioning. Throughout my career I have supervised and trained advanced Psychology Pre-Doctoral Interns and Alberta Health Services mental health staff.
To highlight some of my specialty areas, I have developed expertise in organizing highly distressed individuals in crisis situations. I am very effective in treating men and women who have physical complaints; and anxiety or depressive symptoms reflective of unmet or unresolved emotional needs. I also have a great deal of experience treating persons with symptoms related to issues in their work environment. I have success working with mid to late adolescents who are looking for assistance with moving forward in their life. I bring a solid confidence to my work. I feel fortunate to be able to help people doing what I love to do which is therapy.
